WebTools Manager is an extension that provides an interactive UI for web tool management for wikis, like Open Graph, analytics, etc. It adds the ability to control analytics and Open Graph details across the wiki in a visual manner, without having to deal with variables in LocalSettings.php
after installation.
Installation
- Download and move the extracted
WebToolsManager
folder to yourextensions/
directory.
Developers and code contributors should install the extension from Git instead, using:cd extensions/
git clone https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/mediawiki/extensions/WebToolsManager - Add the following code at the bottom of your LocalSettings.php
wfLoadExtension( 'WebToolsManager' );
file: - Run the update script which will automatically create the necessary database tables that this extension needs.
Done – Navigate to Special:Version on your wiki to verify that the extension is successfully installed.
